In conducting evaluations, UTES uses principle UNESCO regulations on foreign credential evaluations, PIER World Education Publications (Projects in International Education Research) and International Education Series, and the guide to Foreign Educational Credentials Required for Consideration of Admission to Universities and Colleges in the United States.
The UTES follows the highest standards of educational evaluation guidelines as recommended by U.S. admissions offices and various publications by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO), the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), the Office of International Training, the Agency of International Development, and ministries of education throughout the world. UTES strictly adheres to the policies set forth by the U.S. Network for Education Information (a division of the U.S. Department of Education) regarding foreign diploma and credit recognition.
